This Privacy Policy explains how PaySwitch Company Limited ("PaySwitch", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you use the PaySwitch Merchant Dashboard. It is intended to help us deliver the best experience across the various functions of the platform while keeping your information secure.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide when you register for and use the PaySwitch Merchant Dashboard. This includes personal and business contact details, billing information, and the account details needed to operate your merchant account and receive settlements.
Most of this information is gathered directly from you through the forms in the dashboard — for example during sign-up, onboarding, and KYC/KYB submission. We collect it to help deliver the best experience in your interaction with the various functions within the platform.
2. How We Use the Information We Collect
We use the information we collect to manage your merchant account and profile, to facilitate and improve our communication with you, and to provide support in connection with your use of the platform.
Your data may also be used for periodic, aggregate analysis of how the platform is used by all merchants. This usage analysis helps us understand performance, improve features, and optimise the dashboard over time.
3. Location Information
When you register your business, the dashboard may collect a one-time location for your business address — for example the GPS / digital address you enter or confirm during onboarding. This is captured in the foreground, with your input, to verify and record where your business operates.
We do not continuously track your location in the background. Location is used only for the business-address purpose described above and is not used to follow your movements.
4. Security
We take the protection of your information seriously. Sensitive information is encrypted, and we use secured cloud storage facilities to hold the data processed through the platform.
While we implement these safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute protection against all unauthorised access, but we work continuously to keep your information safe.
